Objective:

This internship shall provide necessary knowledge on converting research data into an indexed publication and exposure to processing of research manuscripts from preparation to publication. The whole programme has been planned under the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, Govt. of India, to nurture scientific temper among the budding scholars/students and groom them to acquire basic skills in research communication and get a 'sense of pride' being an 'informed citizen' of this great nation with a historical tradition

CSIR-NIScPR, New Delhi:

CSIR-National Institute of Science Communication and Policy Research (CSIR-NIScPR), publishes 19 research journals and three Popular Science Magzines, apart from CSIR-News, CSIR-Samachar (Hindi), Discussion paper series and Policy bulletins. etc. The CSIR-NIScPR also conducts academic courses leading to PhD & MSc in S&T communication through AcSIR.

Nature of Support:

Lodging, Food, Stationery, Travel (to & fro) requirments will be met free of cost as per SERB norms.

Selection Criteria:

• Academic achievement in university examinations (CGPA/percentage of marks)
• Participation in academic/co-curricular competitions and other awards/distinction

Note: Selected candidates will be notified through e-mail.

Terms and Conditions:

• Selected candidates shall attend the program physically. Attendance (100%) is mandatory.
• The interns should follow the institute's rules and regulations strictly.
• Accommodation shall be provided depending on the availability of rooms at guest house.
• Interns will complete the assigned tasks and assignments timely.
• Submission of individual final report at the end of the tenure is mandatory.
• It would be appreciable if candidates bring their own laptops.
